- How to retrieve the API key for FreshdeskNote: To retrieve or access the API key for Freshdesk, be sure that you are an admin or account owner of the Freshdesk account.

Log in to your Freshdesk account click the Profile picture icon on the upper-right corner, and select the Profile Settings option.

Retrieve the API key
On the right side of the Profile Settings window, you will find the API key for Freshdesk. You can optionally reset the API key to create a fresh API key.
Copy this key and paste it in the API Key field of the Connect to Freshdesk window on webMethods Integration.

- How to retrieve the domain name for Fresh desk Note: To retrieve or access the Domain Name for Freshdesk, be sure that you are an admin or account owner of the Freshdesk account.
To retrieve the domain name for Freshdesk, do as follows:
- Login to your FreshDesk account
- Check the URL of the web page.
- Your domain is the series of alphanumeric characters before .freshdesk.com. For example, if your account URL is abc.freshdesk.com/a/dashboard/sample’, the domain name is abc.
Copy the domain name from the URL and paste it in the Domain Name field of the Connect to Freshdesk window on webMethods Integration.
After entering both the values in their respective fields, click Add. A connection will automatically be created and added under the Connect to Freshdesk field. You can then use this connection in all Freshdesk actions or triggers.
