Configure the Twitter trigger that starts a workflow when you post a new tweet or
retweet.
Procedure
- Trigger Label- Provide a suitable name for this trigger. (For
example, Twitter - New Tweet or Retweet Posted by Me.)
- Select Trigger- Select the trigger, which when occurs, runs the
workflow. For the example workflow, you select New Tweet or Retweet Posted by
Me. This trigger starts running the workflow whenever you post a tweet through your
Twitter account.
- Authorize Twitter- Select the account that you want to use to run
the action, from the drop‐down list. If you have not created an account yet, click the
+ icon. You see two options:

Default Authorization- Select this option to allow webMethods Integration to
automatically generate all keys that are required to run Twitter actions.

Or- select this option to provide the relevant keys that are required to
run all Twitter actions.

Select one of the options, provide the relevant information as prompted on the screen, and
click Add.
A new account is created for your Twitter
account. After you create an account, you can use it to run all other Twitter actions and
triggers.
- Click the Save to save the trigger.
Results
The trigger is added to your workflow. You are redirected to the Test
Trigger window to validate the configuration.
