The partner’s certificate contains a public key, which is required to encrypt outbound
request messages and verify the signature of inbound messages. The certificate from your trusted
partner can be used to securely send and receive business data in AS2
connector configurations. Learn how to add, edit, and delete a certificate of a trusted
partner.
Procedure
- To add a certificate of a trusted partner, click .
- In the Add partner certificate window that appears, enter the
following details:
- In the Name field, provide a name for the partner certificate file. The
value for this field cannot be edited through the Edit partner certificate
page.
- In the Description field, provide a summary of the partner certificate
file.
- Click Browse to select the Partner certificate
file. The supported certificate formats are - .der, .cert, .cer, .crt
Next,
click Save to upload the partner certificate file. The partner certificate
file is successfully created and added to the list of partner certificates in the
Certificates screen.
The added certificate can be used at the time of
account creation for an application. See Accounts to learn what an account is,
how it works, and how to create accounts for external web services.
What to do next
To edit a partner certificate, from the list of existing certificates, click the icon next
to the certificate you want to edit and select Edit Partner. Update the
relevant details in the Edit Partner Certificate window that appears. The
value of the Name field is only available on the Add Partner
Certificate window and cannot be edited.To delete a partner certificate, click the
icon next to the certificate you want to delete in the list of existing certificates. From the
options that appear, select and confirm Delete to permanently delete the
selected partner certificate from the list.
