Managing users
webMethods Developer Portal user roles
The webMethods Developer Portal user roles include administrators, providers, partners, and consumers. Of the four user roles, you can add and manage API consumers from webMethods Developer Portal. For more information, see Native registration.
You can create and manage the other three roles from webMethods Hybrid Integration. The users who are created from webMethods Hybrid Integration must sign in to webMethods Developer Portal. After the initial sign-in, the users are registered with the capability. Users are given the webMethods Developer Portal privileges based on their role in webMethods Hybrid Integration.

Provider | Providers can manage assets such as APIs, packages, applications, and communities, and view API economy and usage dashboards. Providers can view all providers, partners, and consumers. |

Partner | Partners can manage APIs and communities. API partners can publish APIs to private communities, and assign owners (users or teams) to APIs. User with this privilege can view other partners and consumers. |
