Viewing user analytics dashboard

The User analytics dashboard includes widgets that provide the user sign-up and sign-in trends. This dashboard is available only for administrators.

Procedure

  1. Click the menu options icon User menu options icon from the title bar and select Dashboard.
  2. In the Platform dashboard,select User analytics.
    The date in the widgets of the dashboard appears for the last seven days, by default.
    Widget Description
    User sign up Includes the following items.
    • Today. Displays the number of sign-ups occurred during the current day.
    • This week. Displays the number of sign-ups for the current week.
    • This month. Displays the number of sign-ups for the current month.
    • Overall. Displays the number of sign-ups for the selected period. By default, it is for the past seven days with the current day included.

    The values are displayed with the upward or downward trend percentage.

    User login Includes the following items.
    • Today. Displays the number of sign-ins occurred during the current day.
    • This week. Displays the number of sign-ins for the current week.
    • This month. Displays the number of sign-ins for the current month.
    • Overall. Displays the number of sign-ins for the selected period. By default, it is for the past seven days with the current day included.

    The values are displayed with the upward or downward trend percentage.

    User login trend Displays a graph that indicates the number of users that signed in to webMethods Developer Portal during the selected period. The sign time is listed in the x axis and the sign in count in the y axis.
    Top consumers (login) Displays a graph that indicates the usernames of top consumers that signed in to webMethods Developer Portal during the selected period. The sign in count is displayed next to each consumer name.
    Onboarding vs Deleted Displays a pie chart that indicates the number of users who are onboarded to webMethods Developer Portal against the number that were deleted during the selected period. The pie chart is color-coded and the legend below the chart lists the color that is associated with these two categories.
    User onboarding Displays a graph that indicates the number of users that were onboarded to webMethods Developer Portal during the selected period. The onboarded time is listed in the x axis and the onboarded count in the y axis.
  3. Optional: View the analytics for an alternative period:
    • Click the date filter to select an alternative period and click Apply.
    • Click Custom provide a date range that is not available in the catalog and click Apply.

      The analytics for the selected period appears.
