Analyzing

You can analyze the performance of your assets and user engagement details by using the analytical dashboards in webMethods Developer Portal.

The dashboards that provide data to analyze the following aspects:
  • User sign-up and sign-in trend
  • API insights and trends
  • API programs insight
  • APIs and applications usage

You can access the analytics dashboard by clicking the Dashboard option in the user action menu.

Data filters
All dashboards come with a Date filter that you can use to select a period for which you want to view the data. The default value is Last 7 days. You can select a period by clicking this default value.

You can search the analytics of an API by providing the API name in the search box that is provided in the API Economy - API trends and Usage dashboards. Also, you can provide your choice to view the performance metrics of only your own application or

Also, you can view the performance metrics of your own application or the shared applications using the Show owner applications only filter on the Application analytics dashboard.

Note: When you restore the Core module, you must publish the webMethods Developer Portal destination from your API Gateway instance. The publishing of destination is to ensure that your data is seamlessly captured in the Analytics dashboard.
