webMethods B2B is available in several geographical regions, operated by different infrastructure providers.

Based on the vendor and the associated region that is selected, you must allow relevant IP addresses to establish the connectivity between your servers and webMethods B2B .

The following table shows the details of the mapping of webMethods B2B production URLs with the regions:

1. Go to IBM® webMethods iPaaS.

2. Under Products, select webMethods B2B .

   When you want to register for the first time, or want to try webMethods B2B for free:

   1. Click Sign up for free.
   2. Provide the required information in the registration form.
   3. Click Sign up.

When you sign up for webMethods B2B account, IBM webMethods Integration account is also provisioned with it.

If you have an existing webMethods Integration account, and sign up for webMethods B2B , then webMethods B2B gets associated with your webMethods Integration account. This linking is to enable to you to create and run B2B orchestrations in webMethods Integration for webMethods B2B .

Within a few minutes, IBM sends you an email with the username you chose.

1. Open the URL provided to you in the email.
2. Log in using the username and the password you set during the registration process.

This point onwards, you can switch between the webMethods Integration and webMethods B2B instances by using the app switcher. From your IBM webMethods iPaaS account, you can subscribe to more products from the Other IBM webMethods iPaaS products list.

To add new administrator-users in your set up, go to IBM webMethods iPaaS account > Administration, and click Add user.

Select the user roles to enable the new administrator user to operate with all the required permissions.

Click Save to see the initial setup page.

If you switch to another product instance by using the app switcher and log out of that product, it does not log you out from webMethods B2B . To log out of webMethods B2B , switch back to it and then log out.

If you are logging in for the first time and the tenant happens to be deactivated, then you must wait until the tenant is activated again. Thereafter, you must log out and log in again to activate your subscription.

webMethods B2B provides better availability support for the product and infrastructure. This allows having multiple replicas for paid tenants. This capability ensures that a new processing node is assigned when the current processing node fails. This is only a high availability support and not failover support. This means that the transactions in-flight may fail and those may need to be resubmitted or reprocessed. Any new transactions are successfully processed on the newly assigned node.

Create several B2B assets and associate them with each other to set up your webMethods B2B instance. For more information about how to create and associate assets, refer to the different chapters of the webMethods B2B documentation.
