Managing the invitation status

After you send the invite to onboard a partner, check and manage the status on the Invitation status page.

About this task

The following list describes the statuses of an invitation:

Invited
An invitation link is sent in an email to a partner. The partner can complete the form while this invitation link is still active.
Revoked
You can cancel the invite after it is sent or revoke the invitation after you examine the details of the partner. The revoke action deactivates the URL sent in the invitation email.

To revoke an active invite, select Revoke from the Action menu. The URL sent in the email invite becomes inactive.

Seeking approval
After the invited partner provides the information, the status of the invite changes from Invited to Seeking approval. You can either Reject and Approve the invite after you review the details that were provided by the partner.
Onboarded
The status changes to onboarded when the invitation is approved.

Procedure

  1. In webMethods B2B , from the side navigation menu, click Connections > Manage partners
  2. Click Add partner, and select Onboard using invitation. Click the Invitation status tab.
  3. View invitations.
    • To view the total invites, click All.
    • To view the invites that are pending for approval or rejection, click Seeking approval.
    • To view the sent invites, click Invited.
  4. Click the timestamp to view the details entered by the partner in the application form. To approve or reject the invitation after the partner provides complete information from the Action, select Approve or Reject.

What to do next

A partner approval request appears on the notification panel. Click the notification tile to see the partner requests.
