EDI documents
webMethods B2B supports a comprehensive list of leading industry-standard EDI documents.
A list of group, envelope, and other local EDI documents appear as default documents on the Business documents page.
EDI documents display information that is organized in the form of records, composites, and fields:
- Records
- A record holds the complete set of information that belongs to a logical grouping. For example, in an employee record, an address is a composite.
- Composites
- A composite is a set within the schema (which can be within a record) grouped based on a certain logic. For example, an address entity that has a house number, street name, area name, state, and country.
- Fields
- An indivisible node within a record. For example, the house number.
