Adding flat file documents

Flat files documents are simple and text-based. They are ideal for quick data exchange due to their human-readable structure. webMethods B2B recognizes the flat file documents after you add it in the system.

Before you begin

  • You must have administrator privileges.
  • Add key-value identifiers for a flat file and associate them with an inbound channel. webMethods B2B recognizes the flat files based on these identifiers.

Procedure

  1. In webMethods B2B from the side navigation menu, click Assets > Business documents.
  2. Click Add document icon and select Flat file.
  3. Add the required details and click Save.
    From the Refer to list, select to refer a flat file connector through a project on . Select the project and the flat file connector.
