Getting started for API management users

As an API management user, you can perform the tasks based on the functional privileges that are assigned.

Before you begin

You must have the API management user role with specific functional privileges that are assigned to perform specific tasks in webMethods API Gateway. For more information about the functional privileges, see webMethods API Gateway functional privileges.

Procedure

  1. Access IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration home page and click webMethods API Gateway from the side navigation.
  2. Create, manage, and publish APIs.

  3. Create consumer applications. For more information, see Creating an application.
  4. Create API packages and plans to monetize APIs.
    For more information, see the following sections.
  5. Monitor APIs through the analytics dashboard that has insights into API usage and performance. For more information, see API-specific dashboard.
