Users, groups, and teams

You can view user details, create groups and teams from the user management page in API Gateway UI.

You can create and manage users information from the Access Management page in IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration.

Users

User personas who can access the webMethods API Gateway and perform various tasks are as follows.

  • webMethods Developer Portal user
  • API management admin - manages users and performs administrative tasks in addition to managing APIs.
  • API management user - performs tasks based on the functional privileges that are assigned.

Teams

Users who share a common role or responsibility can be grouped as teams. When the team feature is enabled, the members of teams can access the webMethods API Gateway assets of their teams. The members of a team can also do the actions on these assets based on the functional privileges that are assigned to their teams.
