Disconnecting from a Repository

About this task

If a repository is no longer needed or relevant to an API project, you can disconnect it. This helps manage repository access, streamline project organization, and prevent unnecessary updates from unneeded sources.

Procedure

  1. Click the settings icon settings_icon to open the settings menu.
  2. Click Repositories.
  3. Click the disconnect icon next to the GitHub repository link.
  4. Click Delete to remove the connection.
The repository connection is stopped securely without affecting locally saved projects or configurations. Disconnecting is useful when you no longer need access to a repository or plan to connect to a different VCS setup.
