Backup Repository
The repositories used for data backups are configured using the path.repo
property in the elasticsearch.yml file. In a default webMethods API Gateway
installation, the default backup repository is located at
InstallDir/archives. A repository can be a folder, network
location, or cloud location where backup files are stored. While the default repository is
pre-configured, you can create additional repositories based on your backup storage
requirements.
You can configure your backup repository in one of the following
locations:
- Local file system
- Network file system
- Containers
- Cloud
