Documentation Changes
This section describes significant changes to the documentation, such as the addition, relocation, or removal of product guides, online help, chapters, or other major content. A release is listed in this section only if changes occurred in that release.
The online help in the product was created at an early stage of the product freeze. The most recent information is included in the API Gateway documentation, which is provided on https://documentation.softwareag.com/.
Release 10.15
The content in existing documents is restructured and moved to align with function-wise information segregation and for ease of discovery.
Starting this release, the User's Guide has the following sections:
Define and Manage APIs
Implement APIs
Publish APIs
Monetize APIs
Monitor APIs
Microservices
Accessibility Profile
In addition, the following User's Guide sections are moved:
User Management to API Gateway Administration
Import and Export of Assets to Staging and Promotion Guide
Release 10.11
The content in API Gateway Configuration Guide is now categorized and the following new artifacts have been created and added under the API Gateway information set:
webMethods API Gateway Administration: This document contains information on API Gateway deployment, operations, and Administration.
webMethods API Gateway Staging and Promotion: This document contains information on staging and promotion of assets in API Gateway.
webMethods API Gateway Upgrade and Migration: This document contains information on major and minor upgrades and migration in API Gateway.
Release 10.7
The following artifacts have been introduced for API Gateway 10.7:
webMethods API Gateway Quick Start: This is published as single PDF and as a part of webMethods API Gateway WebHelp. It explains a simple use case of creating an API using API Gateway and publishing the same to API Portal.
Release 10.3
The following artifacts have been introduced for API Gateway 10.3:
webMethods API Gateway WebHelp: This is single HTML output that contains all the PDFs available for API Gateway on Empower.
Release 10.0
The following artifacts have been introduced for API Gateway 10.0:
webMethods API Gateway Quick Start Guide: This is single page PDF output that gives an overview of setting up API Gateway.
