Importing workflow recipes

Use prebuilt workflows from the Recipes page. In addition, import your own workflow-specific schema onto the Recipes section.

About this task

Note: When importing a workflow schema, all project parameters of type password are cleared by default to maintain security. Parameters of other types retain their default values as defined in the original workflow.

To begin, click the Filter icon located next to the search box in the upper-right of the Recipes page. Two filter options are available:

  • All Recipes: Displays all prebuilt recipes that are provided by the webMethods Integration administrator. This section also allows you to upload your own workflow schema, which is automatically converted into a recipe.
  • My Recipes: Shows only the recipes that you have created or imported.

Procedure

  1. On the Recipes page, click the Filter icon and select All Recipes or My Recipes.
  2. Click Import.
  3. In the file dialog, select the workflow schema file (.json) you want to upload and click Open.
    You are redirected back to the selected tab, where a new recipe card for the imported workflow appears.

Results

The imported workflow recipe is added to both the All Recipes and My Recipes sections. Once imported, you can use it like any other recipe in your projects.
