Publishing projects

Learn how to publish a project from one tenant to another.

Before you begin

  • Help ensure that the project is ready to publish.

    • Verify the configuration and correctness of the integrations.

    • Help ensure that all required resources, for example, API endpoints, connectors, and services, are properly set up.

    • Test the integrations to help ensure that they work as intended.

  • Help ensure that you have the destination environment details such as username and password.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Projects dashboard and locate the project you want to publish.
  2. Click the overflow menu icon available in the project card.
  3. Select Publish Project.
    The Publish Project wizard appears.
  4. Complete the steps in the Select Assets page to select the assets that must be published.
    • Select the assets that you want to publish. You can select assets by checking the respective options, or all assets by selecting the Assets checkbox. View the unpublished dependencies. Help ensure that the relevant assets are added and reconfigured in the target environment after publishing.
    • Click Next. The Confirm dependencies page appears to list all selected assets along with their types and dependencies.

  5. Verify the assets and their dependencies.
  6. Click Next.
    The Publish settings page appears.
  7. Enter the following details in the Publish settings page.
    • Name - Name of the publish action.
    • Description - Short description about the publish action.
    • Select Environment - Destination environment on which you want to publish. The username and password fields appear.
    • Password - Password that is associated with the username. If the environment to which you want to publish a project is already added under Environments Allowed users in the platform, then the password prompt does not appear.
    Note: The following assets are not published by default.
