Enhancements in Custom REST Connector Creation

Users can now create custom REST connectors automatically by using one of the following options, instead of defining all actions and operations manually:
  • Import from URL - Directly import a Swagger or Open API specification file to create a REST connector. You can either configure the connector settings or use it as-is.
  • Import from local file - Import a YAML or JSON file to create a REST connector. The file must adhere to Swagger or OpenAPI specification standards. You can either configure the connector settings or use it as-is.

Enhanced Security for Integration Runtimes Key and Trust Store Provisioning

Users can now enable two-way SSL without the need to set up their own stores. With this enhancement, a tenant store is automatically created during tenant setup. The provisioned store is named as [TenantName]_Runtime and includes the following:
  • A key store (Identify) containing a unique, auto generated private key and a signed certificate.
  • A truststore (Trust) containing a certificate for the user’s webMethods Integration (SaaS), enabling secure connections.

Previously, the run times used the DEFAULT_IS_KEYSTORE and DEFAULT_IS_TRUSTSTORE files that contained generic private keys and certificates.

This enhancement ensures that tenants are provisioned with secure, production-ready key and trust stores, aligning with best practices for a secured environment.
