Port assignments

Before you install IBM® WebSphere® Portal, you must plan the port assignments for your system to ensure that you do not have a port conflict.

Review the Default port assignments file in the IBM WebSphere Application Server for z/OS® Information Center to determine what ports may already be taken.

Contact your ports administrator to request a series of ports to use for your WebSphere Portal installation.
