Installing and Upgrading IBM webMethods Adapter for PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne

Before You Begin

To prepare to install the adapter :

If you are going to install the adapter on an existing Integration Server, shut down the Integration Server.
Download IBM webMethods Installer.

To install the adapter :

Start IBM webMethods Installer.
Choose the webMethods release from which to install the adapter. If you are going to install the adapter on an existing Integration Server, choose the release that matches the release of that Integration Server. For example, if you are going to install the adapter on Integration Server 9.0, choose the 9.0 release.
Specify the adapter installation directory as the IBM installation directory. If you are going to install the adapter on an existing Integration Server, specify the IBM installation directory that contains that Integration Server.
Choose to install any required webMethods products that are not already installed, such as Integration Server.
In the product selection list, go to Adapters >webMethods PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne Adapter > webMethods PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne Adapter8.98.

IBM webMethods Installer installs the adapter package, named PSFT_E1_Adapter, in the Integration Server_directory\packages directory. By default, the adapter is enabled.
After IBM webMethods Installer completes the adapter installation, close the Installer.
Start the Integration Server on which you installed the adapter.
Follow the instructions in Completing the Install or Upgrade.

To upgrade the adapter :

To complete the install or upgrade :

Apply all critical fixes to the adapter. To determine whether there are critical fixes, see:

The readme for a fix provides detailed instructions about how to apply the fix.
Verify the installation by following the instructions in Verifying Adapter.
Complete the installation by performing the steps in Post Installation Instructions.
