Prepare the Old webMethods Developer Portal Installation

Procedure

  1. Install the latest product fixes on the old webMethods Developer Portal and start it.
  2. Open webMethods Developer Portal in a browser and log on with your Administrator credentials.
  3. Go to Administration > Backup and Restore, select the required modules, and click Backup.
    webMethods Developer Portal creates a zip file that contains the backup data.
  4. Shutdown old webMethods Developer Portal, if both old and new webMethods Developer Portal installations are on the same machine:
    1. To stop the running data store instance, click on the Start menu, expand the webMethods Developer Portal menu group, and click Stop API Gateway Data Store 10.15.
    2. Stop Software AG Runtime 10.15 services.
