Defining an XML document that refers to an existing document in webMethods Integration
This use case explains how to define an XML document in webMethods B2B Integration. This XML document refers to an existing document in a selected project from IBM® webMethods Integration.
Before you begin
You must have the following assets:
- An existing project in webMethods Integration.
- A document that you want to refer to exists in the selected project.
About this task
Procedure
- In webMethods B2B Integration from the side navigation menu, click .
- Click the Add document icon and select XML.
- Provide the name and description for the document.
- Select IBM webMethods Integration.
- Select the project and click Next.
- Select the webMethods Integration document type.
- Specify the root tag identifier, Actions, the root tag name that the inbound document must have.
- Optional: Specify the DTD to use.
- Click Save.
Results
The XML document is created, and the document details page displays the details.
View this XML document in the list of available documents on the Business documents page.
What to do next
- To update the XML document, click
on the document details page. You can update the name, description, project, and
document type. - Navigate to the respective sections to edit the Identifiers, Attributes, Namespaces, and Options.
- Activate the XML document and test it.
