Document submission

Business Partners exchange documents through channels that you create in webMethods B2B Integration. Before the actual document exchange, submit a sample document and validate the processing flow of the document from webMethods B2B Integration. Validating the processing flow confirms that you configured the partners, document attributes, document types, and processing rules properly. The submitted document picks the intended assets for processing.

When you submit a custom EDI document type through the Document submission page, webMethods B2B Integration does not recognize it as a custom EDI document, as intended. However, webMethods B2B Integration recognizes it as any other inbound EDI document type and the appropriate processing rule takes it up for further processing.

You can submit business documents manually without using channels on the Transactions page by clicking the document submission icon. webMethods B2B Integration allows submission of EDI and XML documents.
