Migrating IBM Sterling VAN EDI identities

Migrate the EDI IDs listed in different mailslots of IBM Sterling VAN to your mailbox.

About this task

When you migrate the EDI IDs from different mailslots of IBM Sterling VAN to your enterprise mailbox, you can transact with IBM Sterling VAN users from webMethods B2B Integration.

Procedure

  1. In webMethods B2B Integration, from the side navigation menu, click Administration > Subscriptions > Migrate IBM Sterling VAN EDI IDs.
  2. Select the identities that you want to migrate and click Next.
  3. Click Validate. webMethods B2B Integration checks whether the ID exists in other partner profile. After successful validation, click Migrate.
  4. The migration process starts and you can monitor the status of the migration on the Tasks and Activity logs page.
    Note: webMethods B2B Integration retries five times to migrate the EDI IDs before it fails. These retry options are not configurable.
