Onboarding partners by using B2B Agent

The B2B Agent interprets the input, creates a plan based on the goal, and then onboards the partner to webMethods B2B Integration.

Before you begin

To run the use cases on B2B Agent, you must have B2B admin or B2B user access.

About this task

By using B2B Agent, you can onboard a partner to webMethods B2B Integration. This process includes the following activities:
  • Setting up the partner profile
  • Creating and associating the communication credentials
  • Creating channels
  • Creating document
  • Establishing processing rules for document exchange, and
  • Exchanging documents.

Procedure

  1. In webMethods B2B Integration, click the AI icon to open the AI conversation interface.
  2. Select an option from the Partner onboarding topic to begin onboarding, or give your own prompt to onboard a partner. The following list provides a few sample prompts:
    • Onboard a partner with the name ABC for exchanging document over the SFTP channel.
    • Setup a partner with the name ABC.
    • Onboard a partner with the name ABC for exchanging document over the HTTPS channel.
    The agent builds a plan.
  3. Click Edit to update the values, and click Save and analyze.
  4. Click Start to run the plan. The agent guides you through the onboarding process.

You can view partner details on the Manage Partners page and exchange documents with your partners.
