Monitoring activity logs

Information about all activities within webMethods B2B Integration, such as documents exchanged, deployment activities, are available on the Activity logs page. You can view and monitor the sequence of activities that are related to the webMethods B2B Integration account. You can also track the activities on the Activity logs within webMethods B2B Integration, detect and analyze errors and thus work toward fixing them.

Note: webMethods B2B Integration records any general internal operation in the Activity Logs. It records under the Performed by column with the value set to Administrator. This value is not the same as the administrator role.

The Monitoring > Logs page includes the log records for the following activities:

  • All general activities .
  • All transactional activities that are related to document submission and exchange.
  • Any creation, or modifications of assets such as partner, document, processing rule, channel, partner user, document attribute and field groups.
  • All deployment-related activities. It includes actions that are related to asset movement, suchas the import or export of assets and creation of deployments.

For each of the logs, you can apply these filters:

  • 24H. Displays activities in the last 24 hours. 24H is the default option.
  • 7D. Displays activities in the last seven days.
  • 30D. Displays activities in the last 30 days.
  • Custom. Provide a custom date range along with the timestamp to view the activities in the specified date and time range.

Use the search box to search for specific activity by the typing a keyword. For example, to view all the error logs, type error in the search bar. Similarly, to view all the successful events, type success in the search bar.

The following list provides the color-codes to indicate the activity logs entries:

  • Red indicates an error in the activity logs. For example, if a partner configured as a receiver of a document is inactive.
  • Orange indicates a warning in the activity logs. For example, when attribute transformation fails for extracted attributes that do not need to be defined in a business document.
  • Green indicates a successful event.

Activity logs cannot be deleted.
