Resetting an EDI document

Restoring a business document to its original state applies to the business document across webMethods B2B Integration and webMethods Integration instances. Therefore, the default documents do not have an associated document structure, and the modifications you make to them are not propagated to the webMethods Integration instance.

Before you begin

Deactivate the business document.

Procedure

  1. In webMethods B2B Integration, from the side navigation menu, click Assets > Business documents and select a document to reset it.
  2. Click Reset to standards icon.

What to do next

The reset operation resets the properties, description, and options for the documents you add.

Important: Resetting a business document on webMethods B2B Integration resets the document in the webMethods Integration instance as well. Therefore, any orchestration that uses this document in its business logic is impacted and might result in errors.
