You can configure the various options for processing the flat file document.
Procedure
-
In
webMethods B2B Integration from the side navigation menu, click
.
Select the flat file document for which you want to update the options.
-
Click the Options tab, and provide the details as required. Click
Update.
-
Select the Enable processing rule routing checkbox to process
the document by using pre-processing and processing actions that are defined in a processing rule.
Clear the Enable processing rule routing checkbox, if you want to process the
documents by using only pre-processing actions defined in the document type.
-
Select the Validate document structure checkbox to validate the
structure of the inbound document against the
Flat File connector associated with this document.
-
Click the Override delimiter button to override the delimiters
set in the Flat File connector. The Override delimiter button uses the values
that you set for the records, field or composite, subfield, release character and skip whitespace.
These values override the values configured in the corresponding flat file connector on webMethods Integration. Release character is used to enable a
delimiter to be used for its intended, original meaning. The character that follows the release
character is not treated as a delimiter.
For
example, the field delimiter is + and the release character is \. When you use + within a field as
text, you must prefix it with the release character.
Note:
If you do not set specific delimiters for the inbound documents,
webMethods B2B Integration
displays the delimiters set in the Flat File connector. But, if you set a new value for this option on the
Override delimiters dialog in
webMethods B2B Integration,
the inbound documents are parsed based on these newly set delimiters.
webMethods B2B Integration
does not support validation for documents that are categorized as large documents in the
Large Document Threshold property of the Runtime
options.
webMethods B2B Integration processes large documents with a warning.
-
Select the Check for duplicate document checkbox to check for a
document with the same Document ID, Document ID and
sender, Document ID, sender, and receiver, or Document
ID, sender, and document
type.
-
Select the Save checkbox to save the documents to the database.
You can save a document when you want to deliver the document by using reliable delivery with
immediate or scheduled delivery. For more information, see Configuring Reliable Delivery Settings in a
Partner Profile, to resubmit or reprocess a document.
