To set up your IBM® Web Mail Cloud mail account
on your iPhone or iPad by using IMAP, POP, or SMTP access, complete
the following steps. IMAP is the preferred protocol.
Procedure
- If this account is the first email account on your device,
tap Mail. Otherwise, tap . Tap Other.
- Tap Add Mail Account.
- Tap the Name field and enter your
full name.
- Tap the Address field and enter
your email address. If you enter an incomplete or incorrect email
address, a message is displayed.
- Tap the Password field and enter
your account password. Tap Save.
- Enter the settings information for the protocol
that you selected. Contact
your account administrator for the value that is needed for yoursiteID.
- For IMAP, tap IMAP. Enter your incoming
IMAP mail server name. Your server name has the same ending
as your email address. For example, yoursiteID-imap.mail.na.collabserv.com. Enter 993 for
the port number.
- For POP3, tap POP. Enter your incoming
POP mail server name. Your
server name has the same ending as your email address. For example, yoursiteID-pop.mail.na.collabserv.com. Enter 995 for
the port number.
- Enter your email address and your password.
- In the Outgoing Mail Server Host Name field,
enter your outgoing SMTP mail server name. For example, yoursiteID-smtp.mail.na.collabserv.com. Enter 465 for
the port number.
- Enter your email address and password. Tap Save.
What to do next
You can now access your email by using your iPhone or
iPad.
Your Connections Cloud password
expires based on settings that are specified by your account administrator.
If you cannot log in to Web Mail Cloud, try to log
in from the web to see whether your password expired.
