The esadmin stop command must precede the stopccl command

Do not enter the esadmin stop command after you enter the stopccl command or while the stopccl command is running.

Symptoms

The esadmin stop command might stop responding.

Causes

The stopccl command is not synchronous. It might continue to clean up sessions while the esadmin stop command attempts to contact the sessions that are being cleaned up.

Resolving the problem

To avoid this problem, always enter the esadmin stop command before you enter the stopccl command.

If the esadmin stop is not responding, you can end it by pressing the Ctrl-C keys.
