Configurations in z/OS stock images
IBM provides the z/OS development and test stock image for you to create virtual server instances. The stock image is refreshed on a regular basis.
You can use z/OS dev and test virtual servers only for development, testing, employee education, or demonstration of your applications that run on z/OS. Licensee must not use the Program for production workloads of any kind, nor robust development
workloads, including without limitation, production module builds, pre-production testing, stress testing, or performance testing.

Reserved devices
Each device unit is represented by a unit control block (UCB) in the z/OS image. The following table lists the device numbers that are reserved in the stock image. A device group is shown as device number,range. For example, the
entry 0060,2 3277-2 indicates a device group of two devices of type 3277-2 with consecutive device numbers from 0060 through 0061.
