Connecting to a Presto server-Developer edition
Presto CLI provides a terminal-based interactive shell to run queries. You can connect IBM watsonx.data developer edition Presto server through Presto CLI installed externally.
Exposing the MinIO service
To demonstrate or test the functioning of IBM watsonx.data, use the embedded MinIO object store to load or store data.
Exposing Metadata Service ports
The Metadata Service port is used to facilitate connections from external applications such as Db2, Netezza, and Spark to IBM watsonx.data, especially when these services run outside Docker or Podman environments.
