Configuring end-to-end ACL flow

To configure end-to-end ACL flow in the watsonx.data Premium, complete the following steps:

  1. Complete the pre-requisites specified in the Governance through Access Controlled Lists (ACL) page.

  2. Access your Project.

  3. Go to Assets.

  4. Configure watsonx.data Presto and Milvus connection in your project.

  5. Click New asset > Create a collection of document sets. The Create a Document Library page opens. Create a document library. See Creating document libraries.

  6. Go to the Manage tab in your project and complete the following steps:

    a. Click Unstructured data integration.
    b. Select Enable Access Control List retrieval.
    c. Click Add Presto Connection and select the catalog and schema for the document set storage.

  1. In your project, go to Asset > New asset > Analyze and enrich unstructured data. Create a curation asset. Analyze the data and process it. For information, see How to set up and run unstructured data curation.

  2. Go to Asset > Document Library and select the document library that was used to run and click Chat with Prompt Lab.

  3. To check ACLs are in applied, log in as a user who is not part of the source ACLs and click Chat with Prompt Lab to see different results based on documents that are filtered out by the chat.
