OpenTelemetry

This section details enabling OpenTelemetry in IBM® watsonx.data and integrating or adding backend tools like Prometheus or Instana or others to collect telemetry data.

Before you begin

The Instana or Prometheus tool must be installed following the instruction provided below based on requirement:

Instana installation:
- Self-hosted Instana backend
- SaaS Instana agents
Prometheus installation
Splunk installation or a SaaS version of Splunk
