Checklist for provisioning watsonx.data as a Service Enterprise with gen AI experience
Important: IBM watsonx.data Enterprise with gen AI experience is available only in Toronto (`ca-tor`)
- IBM Cloud account
- Provision core services – See Provisioning an Enterprise plan
- In watsonx.data, ensure
- At least one instance of Milvus and Presto engines are running. See Provisioning a Presto engine and Adding a Milvus service.
- A default customer bucket is associated with the Presto engine intended for gen AI use. The Unstructured Data Integration (UDI) flow will use this bucket to create the entities data Iceberg table.
- A bucket and catalog for Access Control List. See Adding storage.
Important: You cannot use the default COS bucket for ACL.
- All Presto engines are associated with the bucket and catalog for ACL. See Associating a catalog with an engine.
