Configuring test data storage
Connection types that you can use for a DataStage®
test data connector are:
- Storage volume,
- Google Cloud Storage,
- IBM Cloud® Object Storage,
- Microsoft Azure Blob Storage,
- Generic S3.
Creating a connection to your storage volume.
- Open a project that you want to create a connection for.
- On the Assets tab, click .
- Select one of the storage connection types that are available for test cases:
- Storage volume
- Google Cloud Storage
- IBM Cloud Object Storage
- Microsoft Azure Blob Storage
- Generic S3
Using a storage volume connection.
- In the Created connection: Storage volume page, type a name and an optional description for your connection.
- Select an available storage volume.
- In , select Enter creadentials manually.
- Check the Use my platform login credentials box and click Test connection.
- Click Save.
Configuring DataStage to use your test data connection for storing test case assets.
- Open .
- In Test data connection type select Storage volume.
- Select the Storage volume that you want to store test data in.
- For Default DataStage Test case job suffix, you can use the automatically added suffix or specify a new one to distinguish your test case jobs from their associated flows.
You can now create a DataStage test case.
