Install IBM Software Hub

About this task

To install IBM Software Hub, you must first do the following: Set the OLM_UTILS_IMAGE environment variable, install the licensing operators, deploy the CPD Scheduler, and authorize the topology instance.

Procedure

  1. Install the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform cert-manager Operator.
  2. Set the OLM_UTILS_IMAGE environment variable.
    In the environment variables file, comment out the export PATCH_ID=latest line:
    #export PATCH_ID=latest

  3. Set the following environment variable, then create the cluster‑scoped resources for the IBM Software Hub platform and services.
    COMPONENTS=ibm-licensing,scheduler,cpfs,cpd_platform,watsonx_orchestrate
  4. Install IBM Licensing Operators and Instances.
  5. Install CPD Scheduler.
  6. Authorize Topology Instance.
  7. Creating image pull secrets for an instance of IBM Software Hub.
  8. Install IBM Software Hub.
