Infrastructure and software requirements
This section provides the software requirements, supported versions, and infrastructure prerequisites for installing the watsonx Assistant for Z Trial. Ensure that all specified requirements are met.
Infrastructure requirements
The following table lists the recommended infrastructure for watsonx Assistant for z Trial.
Note: For multiple agent deployments, allocate higher capacity based on the number of enabled
services and agents.

Software requirements
The following table lists the required software for watsonx Assistant for z Trial.
Important:
- Before you download and deploy the package, make sure the Linux server has the following components installed.
- Additionally, verify that the deployment host has sufficient CPU, memory, and disk capacity to run the Docker Compose.
- Docker Engine, Docker Compose, and related components are required for both x86 and s390x platforms.
Note: While setting up Docker Compose is generally a simple process, the zCX (s390x)
environment requires additional setup steps. For detailed instructions, see
