Create a tenant and add users to it

This section outlines the steps to create a tenant and add users to it.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to your IBM Software Hub instance and log in.
  2. Click menu icon in the top-right corner of the UI and select IBM Cloud Pak for Data.
  3. On the WXA4Z Management Console card, click Launch.
    The Manage Tenants page of the IBM WXA4Z Management Console opens.
    Alternatively, you can create a watsonx Orchestrate service instance (tenant) from the IBM Software Hub. For instructions, see Creating a service instance for watsonx Orchestrate from the web client.
  4. Create a tenant:
    Note: You must have admin permission to create a tenant.
    1. In the top right corner, click Create Tenant +.
    2. Under the Tenant Display Name, enter the tenant name.
    3. Under Description, enter the tenant description.
    4. From the Select Instance dropdown, select watsonx Orchestrate (5.3.1).
    5. From the Select Namespace dropdown, select cpd-instance-1 .
    6. Click Add.
      IBM WXA4Z Management Console adds the tenant.
      To delete a tenant, click the delete icon under the Actions column. In the dialog box, click Delete.
  5. Return to IBM Cloud Pak for Data, and add the required users to the tenant. For instructions, see Adding users to watsonx Orchestrate on IBM Software Hub.
