Prerequisites for installing the operator

Before installing the operator, you must fulfill the following prerequisites.

Prerequisite Description
Red Hat OpenShift Cluster Verify that the OpenShift version deployed on your cluster matches the version specified in Required Software Versions (s390x and x86).
Storage Class A Storage Class must be available in the cluster to manage the persistent data requirements for applications. The Storage Class can be block or file, Read Write Once (RWO), or Read Write Many (RWX).
Red Hat OpenShift CLI (OC) Install Red Hat OpenShift CLI (OC) on your system so that it interacts with the Red Hat OpenShift cluster.
IBM Cloud Entitlement Key Ensure that you have a valid IBM Cloud API key if you are using IBM-managed Red Hat OpenShift services. Go to container software library to get the API Key.
