Adding skills from Ansible controller or z/OSMF

You can add the required skills by importing them from Ansible controller or z/OSMF into Orchestrate.

To build skills from Ansible controller or z/OSMF:

  1. Log in to watsonx Orchestrate.

  2. Click the Skills and apps tile or from the menu menu, select Skills and apps.

  3. On the Skills and apps page, click Add skills.

  4. Click IBM watsonx Assistant for Z - z/OS skills accelerator.

  5. In the IBM watsonx Assistant for Z panel, provide the following information:

    • Connection Type: Enter Ansible to import the Functional Data Sets (FDS) from Ansible Controller or zosmf to import the FDS from z/OS.

    • Application Name: Enter a unique name to identify the application URL.

    • Connection URL: Enter the URL of the source from where you want to import the FDS.

    • User Name and Password: Enter the user name and password to connect to the source URL.

    • Search Pattern: Use this field to search for specific FDS from z/OS. Enter the search filter followed by asterisk "*" to use the wildcard feature. For example, enter "z/OS management services*" to fetch all the skills relevant to management services.

      Note: The search pattern is not applicable if your connection type is Ansible.

    • Click Connect to see the skills associated with the specified FDS.

  6. Select the skills that you want to add.

  7. Click Save as draft.

The skills are now ready to be published. You can enhance and publish the skills.
