Getting started as a user
Users are responsible for getting their daily tasks that are done by using a broad range of skills, which might include sending emails, collating spreadsheets, or uploading files to storage services. As a user, you connect to apps, add skills to the personal skill set, and use them.
Skills for users
To find the best skill that helps with the job, type the task that you want to do in the chat bar. You can start a conversation by using natural language text and in return you get the most suited skill to proceed with your request.
On Orchestrate, you have an engaging experience with answers to your requests, and can also ask for information that helps accomplish the task. You might be presented to a form with input fields to submit, depending on the skill that is assigned to process your request. When the task is completed, you get the outcome of the task you requested with little effort on your side.
Orchestrate also suggests the next best skills for you to try.
Tasks and workflows for users
Users can also manage tasks and workflows on Orchestrate. It's possible to check priority, status, due date, among other data.
Other considerations
If you are accessing Orchestrate for the first time, see Getting your first access to IBM watsonx Orchestrate.
