Setting conditions and variables for AIOps Assistant flows

When you create the AIOps Assistant flows, you need to define the conditions and variables. These conditions and variables are different for each flow. This procedure explains how to add conditions and variables when creating the AIOps Assistant flows.

Procedure

  1. Log in to watsonx Orchestrate.
  2. Click the AI assistant builder tile.
  3. From the main menu bar, select the AIOps Assistant to which you want to create the skill flow.
  4. Hover the cursor over the home icon, select Actions and then click New action.
  5. On the Create an action page, select Start from scratch.
  6. On the New Action window, enter the name of the AI Assistant flow, for example, Show all my IMS subsystems and click Save.
    You are directed to the page where you can create the conversational steps.
  7. To set a condition, do the following:
    1. In the Is taken field, select with conditions.
    2. Select the condition and its value, as required.
      Note: The first condition exists by default.
    3. To add more than one condition, click Add condition, and then follow the steps a and b.
      If you want to add a new condition group, click New condition group and set the condition to Or or And, as required. and then follow the steps a and b.
  8. To set a variable, do the following:
    1. Click Set variable values.
    2. Click Set new value, select Session variables, and then select the required variable.
    3. In the To field, select Expression and press the $ key on your keyboard.
    4. Select the required variable value.
