Using watsonx.data
Use watsonx.data to store any type of data (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) and make that data accessible directly for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Intelligence (BI). You can also attach your data sources and storages to watsonx.data, which helps to reduce data duplication and cost of storing data in multiple places.
You can provision engines to query data or work with your data in watsonx.data. Presto (Java), Presto (C++) and Native Spark are native engines. While Db2 Warehouse, IBM Netezza and any other engines are external engines. You can also use Milvus service.
Using the watsonx.data console, you can configure different components, create schemas and tables, browse the schemas and tables, ingest data, run SQL queries against the data, manage user access, and more.
watsonx.data supports various integrations like Apache Ranger, Db2, Netezza, IBM Knowledge Catalog, Data Virtualization, DataStage, dbt, BI visualization tool, IBM Manta Data Lineage
watsonx.data also supports various serviceability features like Apache Airflow, Semantic automation for data enrichment, and OpenTelemetry.
