2.4.20 - March 2025

  • Improved Java version verification. Users can leverage the Z Validation Assistant: JDK Home setting to specify the Java™ version used by the extension.
  • Added localization to walkthroughs for the following languages: Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented code coverage from being reported correctly in the Test Runner for Java extension.

  • Added functionality to automate the COBOL setup.
  • Java test suites are created during Java Equivalence Test.
  • Test results in the Validation Assistant tree now link directly to their corresponding JUnit methods.

  • Support for Maven projects to be used with Z Validation Assistant.
  • New ability to clear the Z Validation Assistant view.
  • New ability to unlink listing files from currently linked COBOL files.
  • New command to verify the health of a Java project before you run an equivalence test.
  • Improved error handling when you attempt to link a broken listing file.
