One time configuration

One time configuration outlines the procedure for creating an ADDI sandbox project and obtaining its ID into the VS Code settings.

Note: The remove GO TO procedure requires an ADDI project as per the requirements to hold intermediate representation of the program to remove the GO TO statements. Therefore, this procedure is referred as a sandbox ADDI project. For more information about how to create ADDI project, see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/watsonx/watsonx-code-assistant-4z/2.x?topic=tasks-creating-project.
Here are the steps to obtain the ID into the VS Code settings:
  1. The administrator must create the sandbox project.
Note: It is recommended to remove the created sandbox project from the default workspace in ADDI dashboard so that it is not visible to other users.
  2. The administrator provides the project's unique ID through the following steps:
    • Navigate to the Projects page in the ADDI dashboard.
    • In ADDI 6.1.3 ifix1, the project ID is visible when you edit the project and can be copied by the administrator.
Note: The unique ID field is available in ADDI 6.1.3 ifix1 or later.
  3. After receiving the project's ID from the administrator, you must open the VS Code settings.
  4. In the settings page, search for Sandbox Project ID and enter the project ID for that particular setting.
