Learn how to quickly get started with IBM® watsonx Code Assistant™ for Z Understand for evaluation or production purposes based on your needs.

  • For evaluation purposes, complete the following steps to perform a quick start to get Z Understand up and running with minimal configurations.

    1. Configure IBM Z Understand's Authentication Server (DEX) .yaml file to authenticate IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z Understand.

    2. Installing and setting up

      Follow the instructions to install and set up IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z Understand.

    3. Deploying

      Follow the instructions to deploy and access IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z Understand web user interface that are applicable prior to version 2.5.0.

  • For production purposes, completed the following steps, including an additional step to configure IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z Understand for the sake of security.

    1. IBM Z Understand 's Authentication Server (DEX) .yaml file to authenticate IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z Understand.

    2. Installing and setting up
