Uninstalling

Use the provided uninstall script to easily stop and remove the IBM® watsonx Code Assistant™ for Z Understand (Z Understand) Linux® container and its storage volume.

1. Uninstall Z Understand.
   1. Navigate to the Z Understand installation folder in the Terminal by running the following command:

      cd /opt/wca4z-understand

   2. Trigger the uninstall script by running the following command:

      ./uninstall.sh -fa

      This command contains the following arguments:

      • -f forces the uninstallation without user input
      • -a removes the storage volume that contains all the configuration, logs and Graph database server files.
2. Uninstall IBM ADDI Analyze Client.
   1. Go to Eclipse client > Help > About Eclipse SDK.
   2. In the About Eclipse SDK dialog, click Installation Details.
   3. In the Eclipse SDK Installation Details dialog, open the Installed Software tab, select all the components that start with Application Discovery, and click Uninstall.

      The Uninstall dialog displays the list of components that are to be uninstalled.

   4. Click Finish to start the uninstall process.
