Changing skill sets
Skill sets group all resources that you and your team need to work on watsonx Orchestrate. These resources can be apps and their skills, and the connections that are shared with all members that have access to a skill set.
To use a skill set, you can switch between:
- The personal skill set in which all your skills are available for personal usage.
- The team skill set in which the skills are shared with your team.
- Orchestrate Agent skill set in which the skills are available in the AI chat for the team to use.
Along with these skill sets, you have skill sets created for the AI assistants that you have in your tenant.
The following procedure shows how to alternate between them:
- Go to IBM watsonx Orchestrate chat screen.
- Click Personal skills.
- Choose the skill set that you want to change.

Important: Changing between personal and team skill sets means that you can use their resources from the legacy chat. However, if you use the AI chat, you have access to resources like apps and skills, and shared
connections through the AI assistants that you add to the chat only.
