Managing settings

The Settings option in watsonx Orchestrate enables you to set the number of days for retention of chat history, genereate API key, and to set your preferred language as platform language.

Accessing settings

To access Settings, click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the UI. Following are the various tabs under Settings:

Manage data retention

You can define the retention period for Orchestrate Chat data, after which the system automatically and permanently deletes the data based on your configured settings. For more information, see Managing data retention.

Generate an API key

You can generate an API key to authenticate users to access watsonx Orchestrate API. For more information, see Generating an API key.

Set the platform languages

Set and manage the supported platform languages for your tenant to ensure a localized experience. For more information, see Platform language configuration.

Manage credentials

You can assign credentials to both teams and individual members. Additionally, you can create a new connection and associate the appropriate credentials with it. For more information, see Managing credentials.
